Vehicle into a House
On Monday August 6, 2007 Boger City Fire was dispatched to a reported MVC into a structure on Huss Street. Car 422 checked on scene to advise 1 patient pinned in a vehicle that had struck an occupied residence. Crews from Boger City and Lincolnton Fire worked to free the patient. Crews also monitored a natural gas service box that was struck by the vehicle while extrication crews were working to free the trapped patient. Duke Power cut power to the residence, Piedmont Natural Gas cut off the gas to the residence, and Lincoln County Building Inspectors condemned the structure due to major structural damage. No occupants of the structure were injured. Units that responded were Eng 42, Squad 46, Eng 1, Car420, Car421, Car422, Car1, Car2, Lincoln County EMS, and Lincolnton Police Dept.
