Vehicle vs. House
On Tuesday 8/4/09 at Approximately 4:15 pm, Boger City Fire was dispatched to a reported MVC vehicle into a structure and power lines down on Highway 27 East near Iron Station. Eng. 42 and Rescue 46 arrived on scene to find a single vehicle MVC into a residential structure with power lines on the ground and a power pole cut off at the ground. All patients were free from the vehicle. Damage to the structure was minimal. Crews established a safe area and controlled traffic until SHP arrived. Crews remained on the scene until Duke Energy arrived to repair power lines and pole. Units that responded were E42, R46, C421, C422.
