Training Fires
On Saturday Nov. 22, Boger City Fire along with Lincolnton Fire and several other county departments participated in a training burn of two abandoned houses that were purchased by Boger City Baptist Church and donated to the fire department for training. The burns took place on Smith Street just behind the church. Around 50 firefighters from several departments were present, and enjoyed the opportunity to train and fellowship. Agencies that were represented were Boger City Fire, Lincolnton Fire, South Fork Fire, N321 Fire, Howards Creek Fire, and Lincoln Rescue.
