Power Lines Down
On Tuesday 11/30/2010 during all the high winds and storms, Boger City Fire was dispatched to a reported power line down and arcing on Leeping Brook Rd. Engine 41 arrived to find a tree had fallen over a power line and brought the energized lines to the ground. Lines were arcing and burning surrounding grass and brush. Crews called for Duke Energy, and stood by until crews arrived to cut power to the lines. Units that responded were Engine 41, Brush 45, Car421.
