Apartment Fire
On Oct. 30, 2007 Lincolnton and Boger City Fire were dispatched to a possible apartment fire at 238 Mauney Drive in Lincolnton. Car 2 arrived on scene to report a working fire in a 2 story apartment building. Engine 1's crew was able to obtain a quick knock down of the fire which was confined to a bedroom on the second floor. Crews from both departments performed search, ventilation, salvage, and overhaul. The fire reportedly started from a heating pad left on a bed. Crews that responded were E1, L1, E41, Rescue 46, Car2, SBI.
