Plane Crash
On Sunday Oct. 18, 2009 at approximately 9:15am, Boger City Fire was dispatched to a reported airplane off the runway at Lincoln County Airport. Eng.41 arrived on scene to find a single engine Cessna plane off the end of a taxi-way. Crews searched for the pilot however no one was located. Crews contained a very minor fuel leak and stood by until a wrecker removed the plane. The scene was turned over to the Lincoln County Sheriffs Department and Airport Authorities. Units that responded were Engine 41, Car421, and LCSO.
