Early Morning House Fire
On Wednesday October 3rd Lincolnton and Boger City Fire were dispatched to a reported structure fire on Terrace Place in Lincolnton. Engine 1 arrived to find fire coming through the roof of a 1-story residential structure. Crews from both departments performed an interior attack and confined the fire to the attic. Both occupants were asleep in a back bedroom and escaped with no injuries, thanks to a working smoke detector. SMOKE DETECTORS SAVES LIVES!!!!! Crews were on the scene for several hours for overhaul and investigation. Units that responded were E1, L1, E2, E41 , Squad 46, Car1, Car2, Car3, Car421.
