Fatal House Fire
On Saturday Aug. 11, 2007 Boger City Fire was dispatched to assist South Fork, High Shoals, and Lincolnton Fire Departments with a reported structure fire with people still inside on Gastonia Highway in South Fork's district. First units on scene reported 75% involvement. Boger City provided manpower for suppression, search, and overhaul. Authorities reported all occupants escaped the structure with the exception of a 10 month old child. Three other occupants were transported to area hospitals. The fire was ruled accidental by Lincoln County Sheriffs Office, SBI, and ATF. Units that responded were E71,E72,T73, E212,E210, E3, E41, Car421, 1200,1201,1202,1205, Lincoln EMS.
