Smoke in a House
On Thursday August 2, 2007 Boger City Fire had a busy day responding to 6 calls. The last call was dispatched at around 7:30 pm to a reported structure fire on Old Barn Road that the homeowner believed to be extinguished. Engine 42 arrived on scene to advise nothing showing from the exterior. Interior crews advised heavy smoke damage but no visible flames. Crews wet down hot spots and ventilated the structure. The fire started around a box fan that had been left on all day. Units that responded were E42, E41, E112, Car421, Car422.
