Room & Contents on Mauney Drive
On Thursday June 21, 2007 Lincolnton and Boger City Fire were dispatched to a structure fire on Mauney Dr. Lincolnton Car 4 checked on scene with light smoke showing. Interior crews entered the structure to find a fire in a bedroom and closet area. Crews quickly extinguished the fire and kept damage to a minimum, with no extension to the rest of the structure. Lincolnton FD is still investigating the fire. Crews remained on the scene for several hours for salvage, overhaul, and ventilation. Units that responded were Eng.1, Ladder 1, Eng. 41, Squad 46, Car 1, Car2, Car 4, Car 421, Lincoln County EMS, and Lincolnton Police Department.
