Tree on a Mobile Home
On Thursday June 4, 2009 at approximately 4:45 pm,
Boger City Fire was dispatched to a reported tree on
top of a mobile home. Engine 42 and Rescue 46
arrived on scene to find a very large tree on top of
a single wide mobile home. All occupants of the
structure were out of the home and were not injured.
Power was shut off to the residence and the Lincoln
County Building Inspector's Office was notified due
to the significant damage. Heavy rain and the rotten
base of the tree contributed to the tree
falling. Fire crews cut what they could away from
the mobile home and placed a salvage cover over the
roof area to try to protect the occupant's personal
belongings. Red Cross was requested to help with the
family. Units that responded were: Engine 42, Rescue
46, Brush 45, Car 421.
