Mobile Home Fire
Early AM on May 9, 2011 Boger City Fire along with Lincolnton Fire and North 321 Fire were dispatched to a structure fire on Waterfalls Drive. Engine 42 arrived to find heavy smoke coming from a mobile home. An attack crew and search crew entered the structure to find heavy smoke inside the structure. Interior crews used thermal imaging cameras to locate the fire and to perform an initial search and a secondary search. The fire was brought under control and contained to a single bedroom, however other portions of the structure sustained smoke and heat damage. Nobody was home at the time of the fire. The fire is still under investigation by the Lincoln County Fire Marshals Office. Units that responded were: Engine 42, Engine 41, Rescue 46, Engine 2, Engine 102, Car420, Car421, Car422. LCFM 1202.
