Lightning Strike
On April 14th, 2007 Boger City Fire
and North 321 Fire responded to a
lightning strike to a residence. Engine
42 arrived to find the house had
received a lightning strike that blew
the sheetrock off of one wall and blew
out an exterior window. No fire was
found, just scorched wiring and an
abundance of interior damage to light
fixtures, walls, and furniture. Units
that responded were Eng.42, Eng. 41, SQ.
46, Eng. 102, Car 420, and Lincoln
County EMS. All the pictures here were
damage before the fire department
started overhaul and investigation.
