House Fire
On Sunday April 1, 2007 at approximately 1:30 am Lincolnton Fire and Boger City Fire was dispatched to N. Aspen Street on a report of smoke coming from a 2-story residential structure. Engine 1 and Ladder 1 arrived in less than 1 minute and reported heavy smoke coming from the second story of the structure. Engine 41 and Squad 46 responded and were assigned ventilation and search. The fire was confined to one bedroom upstairs and the attic. Both departments assisted with salvage and overhaul and investigation. The fire is still under investigation by the Lincolnton Fire Department and the City of Lincolnton Police Detective Division. Units that responded were Engine 1, Ladder 1, Engine 41, Squad 46, Car 1, Car 2, Car 3, Lincoln EMS, and City of Lincolnton Police and Utility Departments.
