Working House Fire on East Main Street On March 27, 2007 Lincolnton and Boger City Fire
were dispatched to a reported structure fire at an
abandoned house next to Hardees on East Main Street.
Engine 1 arrived to a working fire. Attack crews made an
aggressive interior attack and obtained a quick
knockdown of the fire which had spread to the second
story of the structure. Engine 41 and Squad 46 responded
from Boger City to provide lights, cascade system, and
manpower. Crews from both departments assisted in
ventilation, salvage, and overhaul. Two firefighters
sustained minor injuries from the fire, one was treated
and released from Carolina's Medical Center.
