Brush Fire On March 22, 2007 Boger City Fire was dispatched to
a brush fire on Hill Road on the railroad tracks. Brush
45 and Engine 42 arrived to find approximately 1/4 of an
acre involved. Attack crews obtained a quick knockdown
on the fire. Command had all trains stopped due to
apparatus near the tracks. The fire was investigated by
the Lincoln County Forestry service and was determined
to have been set. Crews remained on the scene for
approx. 1 hour extinguishing hot spots.
