Mobile Home Fire
On the night of 1-6-2011 Boger City Fire, Alexis
Fire and South Fork Fire were dispatched to a
structure fire on Southmont Road. Truck 40 arrived
on the scene to report a working fire with heavy
smoke showing. Engine 41 placed two 1-3/4" attack
lines on the ground, entered the structure and
extinguished the fire. Other crews laddered the
structure and cut a hole in the roof for
ventilation. The home sustained heavy fire and smoke
damage; however most of the family's personal
belongings were spared. Units that responded were
Engine 41, Engine 42, Rescue 46, Truck 40, Engine
74, Engine 203, Car 420, Car 421, Car 422, Lincoln
County EMS, LCFD 1204.
