Charleston Memorial
On June 22, 2007 Asst. Chief Kevin Newell traveled to the North Charlestown Coliseum in Charleston, S.C. where he and many other firefighters from across the nation attended the memorial service in honor of the nine fallen Charleston Firefighters. These Charleston firefighters perished while battling the blaze at the Sofa Super Store, a large furniture store that covered approximately 31,300 sq. feet.
