Hometown Heroes and Girl Scouts
On Sunday April 5, as part of the Hometown Heroes Project, Girl Scout Cadette Troop 656 and one member from Junior Troop 65 in Denver delivered boxes of Girl Scout cookies and thank you notes to two area fire departments in appreciation for their service to the community. A total of 60 boxes were delivered to the Boger City Fire Department and the Pumpkin Center Fire Department. Those pictured at the Boger City Fire Department with some of their firefighters are from left to right: Merisa S., Stephanie W., Kristina S and Christina F. Firefighters are Bryan Lynch, Scott Furr, Brent Smith, and Cody Carpenter. The Boger City Fire Department would like to thank the local Girl Scouts for all they do.
