Annual Awards Banquet and
Steak Supper
On January 31, 2009 the Boger City Fire
Department held its awards banquet and steak supper.
This is an annual event held at the fire department
that everybody enjoys dearly. This year was no
different. The night was filled with great food,
fellowship and excitement, and of course the awards.
This year the following awards were received:

Floyd Peeler
- Most Training Hours - Chad
Furr
- Most Improved Firefighter
- Scott Furr
- Firefighter Of The Year -
John Richard
- Officer of the Year -
Jason Ingle

of these members for the outstanding job they do.

At the Awards Banquet on Jan.
31, 2009, Randy Hallman was presented with a plaque
of appreciation from the members of the Boger City
Fire Department. Randy retired from the City of
Lincolnton Fire Department on Dec. 31. Randy has
been stationed at Boger City since 1993.
Congratulations go out to Randy and his family,
however the members at Boger City will miss him
dearly. The following was engraved on the plaque
presented to Randy:
"Presented to Engineer Randy Hallman Lincolnton Fire
Department as career engineer stationed at Boger
City Fire Department for 15 years of service above
and beyond the call of duty. January 31, 2009."
