Annual Awards Banquet and Steak Supper
On January 23, 2010 the Boger City Fire Department held its awards banquet and steak supper. This is an annual event held at the fire department that everybody enjoys dearly. This year was no different. The night was filled with great food, fellowship and excitement, and of course the awards. This year the following awards were received:

• Most Calls Responded To - Floyd Peeler
• Most Training Hours - Nicky James
• Most Improved Firefighter - Randy Beal
• Firefighter Of The Year - Randy Beal
• Officer of the Year - Jason Ingle

Congratulations go out to all of these members for the outstanding job they do.

During the awards ceremony Firefighter Mike Grice and Firefighter Rick Garner were recognized for their retirement. Both members contributed 33 years to the department in various roles from firefighters to captains and Mike served as Assistant Chief. Thanks go out to both members for the dedicated service they have given the community and department.

Life Saving Awards were given out to members that contributed on responses that resulted in saving a life. Those members were:
