The Boger City Fire Department was organized in
1958. Our fire district is located in central
Lincoln County approximately 35 miles Northwest
of Charlotte. We operate 3 engines, 1 rescue, 1
quick response vehicle, and 1 brush unit out of
our fire station that was built in 2003. Boger
City also operates 1 Blaze unit located at the
Lincoln County Airport, which is in our primary
response area. We currently serve a population
of 9,000 residents.
The Boger City Fire Department provides fire
suppression, rescue and EMS 24 hours a day, 7
days a week. We are an all volunteer department.
There are three paid engineers from the City of
Lincolnton that staffs our station from 7am to 4pm
Monday through Friday. We provide mutual aid to
the City of Lincolnton in addition to 5 other
Lincoln County fire departments. We currently
have 40 members on our roster.
Brush truck sold
winning bidder was John Duncan from
Lincolnton with a bid of $3351.00. Thanks to
everyone who bid on the truck.

Assistance
to Spencer for LODDs |
 During the unfortunate loss of
two of our brothers from Salisbury,
members from the Boger City Fire
Department assist with an engine, and a
4 man engine company for two days. Our
thoughts and prayers go out to the
family and members.

MVC on
East Main Street |
 On
2/26/2008, Boger City Fire was dispatched to a MVC with
injuries on E. Main St. and Lithia Inn Rd. Engine 42
arrived to report a 2 vehicle, head-on MVC with 2
injuries and 1 entrapment.

Annual
Awards Banquet and Steak Supper |
 On
February 2, 2008 the Boger City Fire Department held its
awards banquet and steak supper. This is an annual event
held at the fire department that everybody enjoys
dearly. This year was no different. The night was filled
with great food, fellowship, excitement, and awards.

MVC |
 On
Tuesday Jan. 15 2008, Boger City fire responded to a MVC
with injuries with a possible Pin-In. Engine 42 arrived
on scene to report moderate damage, however there was no
Pin-In.
